In the 1991 the department purchased a 1985 Ford Chassis from Tom Rumble and Son in Monroeville, Indiana for $28,000 and   equipped it with a 3,000 gallon stainless steel tank from Elizabethtown, Kentucky for $14,801. It has been equipped with a 6” dump and fill valve, 3,000 dump-and-go tank, and a 10’ section of 6” hard suction hose for jet siphon. This truck replaced the 1963 International Tanker in 1992 and became known as Tanker #1 and is in service today.
